Upgraded Tracking System now live

Nine Group are happy to announce the implementation of our new delivery tracking system that is now installed on all of our delivery vehicles within our fleet.

The new Track POD is a fully automated system which all drivers are trained on and provides a fully detailed Proof of Delivery document to both us and our clients.
This has already been extremely beneficial to all clients that have used our service, and we have received great feedback, especially as our new system allows our clients to provide key codes for driver access out of hours. Then, by providing our photo proof of delivery, you can see that your order has been delivered accurately and safely.

We are looking to further advance this system by allowing clients to log in to the system from their end and track our vehicles within the hour of delivery, so the delivery is entirely trackable for both us and our clients.

We decided to implement this system for a number of reasons, but mainly using feedback from our platinum clients after asking how we could improve to make the delivery process easier for them. Also, in our bid to become more sustainable, the system allows us to take a further step to becoming a paperless company, something we are working towards in the next 5 years.

With the Track POD system, our Logistics team now have full control over the route planning of each delivery vehicle within our fleet. This, again, enables us to plan the routes more efficiently to help in sustainability. Our drivers are directly employed by Nine Group enabling us to carry out various required checks to guarantee great client care.

The proof of delivery document is sent to both the client and us in PDF form via email, which is, like most of our systems, customisable to the client’s needs and requirements.
